Release 4.39.2

This release introduces new export capabilities across several key areas, including client progress reports, purchase orders, consolidated invoices, and the budget timeline. We've also enhanced client progress report workflows with a new review step and improved reporting accuracy for costs and income.

Analytics

Fix incorrect date filtering on Costs and Income reports

We've resolved an issue where Cost and Income reports might incorrectly include entries from the day before the selected start date, especially for users in certain timezones. Now, the date range filtering for both the Costs and Income lists accurately treats the selected start and end dates as plain calendar days, ensuring only invoices genuinely within your chosen range are included.

Budget

Add resource type totals to estimate table columns

You can now see a breakdown of resource type totals directly within your estimate table. Five new columns are available—one for each resource type (Material, Labor, Machinery, Subcontractor, Other)—showing the total cost allocated to that category for every line-item, category, and the estimate as a whole. This provides a clearer overview of where costs are concentrated without needing to open individual breakdown dialogs. These columns can be shown or hidden via existing column visibility settings.

Export Budget Timeline to Excel

You can now export your Budget Timeline view to Excel. An "Export" button has been added to the Budget Timeline (Project → Budget → Timeline), allowing you to download an Excel file containing exactly what's currently on screen, including categories, line-items, and values for the selected metric (e.g., "Committed costs," "Revised budget").

Client contracts

Two-step approval for client progress reports

To provide better oversight and clarity, creating a progress report for a client commitment now moves it into a "Waiting Approval" state instead of confirming it immediately. This new intermediary step allows reviewers to check details before final confirmation. From this state, a reviewer can either approve the report or send it back for changes with a single click, reopening the original report for editing without creating duplicates.

Export client progress reports to Excel

You can now export your client progress report lists to Excel. An "Export" button has been added to both the commitments view (under the client progress reports tab) and the client contracts view (under the progress reports tab). The exported file will match what's currently on screen, including names, dates, contract and current totals, free amount, and status.

Consolidated invoices

Export consolidated invoice lists to Excel

We've added an "Export" button to the consolidated invoice list, allowing you to download an Excel file of the invoices shown on your active tab (Waiting for Confirmation, Pending, Confirmed, or Archived). The exported spreadsheet includes the consolidated invoice name, subcontractor, creator, status, dates, and amounts.

General Improvements

Project code in exports

To help with filtering, sorting, and cross-referencing, a "Project code" column has been added to all company-level exports, appearing right next to the project name. This applies to exports from all Portfolio View tabs (Bid Requests, Costs, Income, Payment Applications, Projects Timeline, Purchase Orders, Subcontractor Orders, Time Sheets) as well as the company invoice list export. Additionally, in the Costs export, the column previously labeled "Reference number" is now clearly labeled "Invoice number."

Purchase orders

Export purchase orders to Excel

You can now export your purchase order lists to Excel. An "Export" button is available on the purchase order list, next to "Create Purchase Order." It downloads an Excel file of the currently open tab (Open, Closed, or Archived), including the purchase order name, reference number, status, subcontractor, currency, key dates, and cost details.

Fix purchase order PDF article ordering

We've corrected an issue where the article order in purchase order PDF exports did not match the order displayed in the app. Purchase order articles in PDF exports, subcontractor emails, and accounting attachments now consistently follow the same order as your project's budget structure, matching what you see in the application.
